Track records

Our founder and team members have a unique track record of successfully launching disruptive technologies in various sectors, including among others:

Successfully launched the first multi-site neuromodulatory electro-stimulation garments as Class II medical devices, including a suit with 58 embedded electrodes and an advanced control-unit, leveraging AI to optimize 3.5 trillion stimulation patterns, and stimulating effectively 43 muscle groups throughout the body. The suit has had life-changing impacts on patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, stroke and fibromyalgia by reducing spasticity, activating weak muscles, increasing blood circulation/oxygenation and relieving chronic pain.

Co-founded Affan

The first composite-engineering company bringing composite solutions for complex and aesthetically critical structures to the construction sector. Affan has since become the world leader in composite engineering, realizing landmark projects such as the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Co-founded Bobex

A B2B platform, facilitating the request for quotation, supplier selection, and contracting processes between SMEs and consumers, generating more than 35,000 transactions per month in 150 different sectors, and securing strategic partnerships with two large banks.

Our founder

Nicolas Loren Abboud is the founder of Disruptive NovoTech. Prior to this, he was:

  • Co-founder and CEO of a medical device company

  • MD at Investcorp of a €1.2Bn PE fund, in charge of healthcare sector investments

  • 25 years as CEO and Chairman in companies ranging from start-ups to €1.4Bn in turnover

  • MSc in Management and BSc in Engineering, both Magna Cum Laude from M.I.T.
